Over the next few months, you will have the opportunity to prepare spiritually, physically, socially, and intellectually for Trek.

Increase and deepen your faith
The Lord loves effort! As you work hard to be ready in these four areas, you will see blessings increase and your faith will deepen. Turn to Him often in prayer. He is just waiting to help you.
You can do hard things

It is going to be hard. There are going to be days when you are exhausted, the work seems too hard, or inconvenient to do. But, when you turn to Him for help, you will grow closer to Him and find you have strength you didn’t know you had.

36 And now, verily I say unto you, and what I say unto one I say unto all, be of good cheer, little children; for I am in your midst, and I have not forsaken you;
37 And inasmuch as you have humbled yourselves before me, the blessings of the kingdom are yours.
38 Gird up your loins and be watchful and be sober, looking forth for the coming of the Son of Man, for he cometh in an hour you think not.
39 Pray always that you enter not into temptation, that you may abide the day of his coming, whether in life or in death. Even so. Amen.

Who
All Youth who will be 14 years old or older in 2025 are invited

What
Youth and leaders will reenact some of the faith-building experiences of the pioneers who journeyed to the Salt Lake Valley in the mid-1800s. Youth will be organized into groups called “families,” wear pioneer-era clothing, pull handcarts, and participate in pioneer activities and devotionals. Total Trek walking distance is 10+ miles.
